Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters

• Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes-related issues

• Work with 3rd party vendors and developers to implement Kubernetes-based solutions

• Automate Kubernetes tasks and workflows

• Ensure the security and reliability of Kubernetes clusters and applications

• Communicates regularly, openly and honestly with manager, team leads, and business partners using appropriate and effective methods. Raises concerns and issues appropriately.

• Preform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of (3) years relevant experience or

• Associate's Degree and a minimum of (5) years relevant experience or

• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of (7) years relevant experience

Relevant Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes Required

• Experience with RedHat OpenShift and/or Rancher and Infrastructure Management Required

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and architecture Required

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd Required

• Experience with networking, monitoring, and logging in Kubernetes Required

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

• Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
