The Manager of Supply Chain Data, Analytics & Performance reports to the Director, Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation,

The position is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the enterprise-wide Data, Analytics & Performance programs that enable the supply chain management organization to deliver excellence in safety, performance, and business value - to deliver world class supply chain performance, performance data must be transparent, deliver insight, and underpin forward looking business decisions. Scope is inclusive of Systems Management Admin & Support (Nuclear/Non Nuclear), Assett Decommisioning, Data Mgmt & Engineering, Bots & Automation support, Analytics/Advanced Analytics, Project Analytics & Consulting, Capability training for Analytics, and Performance scorecards and briefs,

The position will work closely with all supply chain departments and their customers to define, seek customer feedback on, allocate resources where required, ongoing visibility into performance, provide new business insights, and deliver decision support analytics. This position delivers value by enabling world class performance through systems admin & support, data management, measuring performance, and providing analytical insight necessary to achieve that strategy.

Preference is to be based in New Orleans, LA but could be domiciled in The Woodlands, TX. The position will require at least 20% travel to the field and corporate offices across the company’s businesses.


  • Ensure that the Team and its suppliers always put safety first. Actively promote strong safety behaviors, utilizing key tools such as Close Call / Good Catch in addition to proactive field and office visits to review standards and behaviours. Monitors and influences suppliers and other stakeholders to proactively identify safety concerns.

  • Develop a multi-year strategic roadmap for Supply Chain Data management, Analytics & Performance to move the supply chain organization to first quartile performance, and sustain that performance. This includes leading the creation and documentation of business cases, project strategies, and project plans with the sequence required to best deliver value.

  • Performance Manage the portfolio of projects that comprise the Data management, Analytics & Performance strategic plan. Ensure that the projects within the Data management, Analytics & Performance strategic roadmap have clearly defined milestones and resource requirements needed to achieve delivery. Work closely with other supply chain leadership to ensure the organization has a prioritized plan for allocating resources.

  • Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap to transform how supply chain supports Supply Chain Systems and related Admin activities. This plan includes prioritization of system management and admin areas, capabilities requirements, skills requirements, a capability build plan, resourcing and sequencing plan, and how will insight be delivered to users.

  • Develop and execute a multi-year analytics roadmap to transform how supply chain uses information for decision support and process improvement. This plan includes prioritization of analytical focus areas, capabilities requirements, analytics skills requirements, a capability build plan, resourcing and sequencing plan, and how will insight be delivered to users.

  • Manage the portfolio of projects that comprise the analytics roadmap. Ensure that the projects, training, development, investment, and delivery of elements within the roadmap have clearly defined milestones and resource requirements needed to achieve delivery. Work closely with other supply chain leadership to ensure the organization has a prioritized plan for allocating resources. Develop capability within the team to present supply chain insights for our customers based on the analytics and performance views, reports and summaries.

  • Develop and manage a highly-flexible team of analysts, that can be deployed to provide a wide array of analytical support across a broad range of business problems.

  • Deliver high value ad hoc analytical support as needed while driving self service and automated delivery channels for routine analysis and reporting.

  • Partner to define, set, and achive departmental goals that support the supply chain strategy and overall organizational goals for corporate business services and supply chain.

  • Maintain healthy, positive, and valuable stakeholder relationships within the supply chain organization and with its customers and suppliers.

  • Mentor and coach staff members, and support the broader talent development activities within the supply chain management organization.

  • Responsible for understanding and administering related Supply Chain policies and procedures.

  • At all times, operate with highest ethical standards and in full compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, egulations and laws.


Minimum education required of the position

Supply Chain degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

MS/MBA degree preferred. Professional supply chain/procurement certification preferred

Minimum experience required of the position

5 years of experience in Supply Chain Data, Analytics & Performance in support of materials/warehousing, purchasing, contracts or project management teams. 3 years of supervisory experience and/or equivalent leadership experience. Related energy Supply Chain experience preferred.

  • Strong customer service, collaboration, project management and relationship management knowledge, skills, and abilities with an orientation to delivering results.

  • Able to utilize information, and information technology / systems to make fact-based decisions.

  • Proficient in using analytical tools to create project plans, supplier analysis, scorecards, etc. These analytical tools include MS Excel, MS Project, and other planning and analysis tools.
