Project Analyst will be the point person for all auditing and operational needs at a project level. Individual will support project execution strategies by performing audits, executing on operational requests, driving customer communications, implementing continuous improvement opportunities, and ensuring reporting is accurate, while ensuring alignment with Entergy auditing standards. Additionally, the Project Analyst will provide analytical expertise to support project and portfolio management in Microsoft SharePoint.

This position interfaces directly with Project Managers and his/her PMO Leadership, providing trusted insight into the health of a project.


  • Provide governance support by ensuring project adhere to IT PMO policies and work instructions

  • Provide customer support to all project stakeholders that pertain to reporting, auditing, communications, and process changes.

  • Responsible to support project stakeholders in IT PMO Tools, such a SharePoint and ServiceNow.

  • Drive communications with all project stakeholders.

  • Ensure all policies and work instructions are up to date and operational.

  • Ensure all training is updated regularly with accurate information, that accounts for process changes.

  • Oversee financial & schedule project milestones

  • Assist Project Team in developing/reviewing/implementing cost corrective actions & recovery plans

  • Focus on continuous improvement opportunities for the internal and external team.

  • Drive data strategies across the PMO

  • Ensure reporting presents the needed data to the customer that is accurate.

  • Focus on providing quality audit reviews.


Minimum education and experience required

Analyst II: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Design, Business or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of relevant work experience is required

Analyst III: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Design, Business or related field and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant work experience is required

Analyst Sr: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Design, Business or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree 10+ years of relevant work experience is required

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required

  • High degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the remainder of the MS Office suite

  • Microsoft SharePoint Administrative expertise

  • Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environment

  • Capacity to adapt to changing work priorities

  • Excellent researching, decision-making and organizational skills are required

  • Complex Problem Solving -- identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

  • Work independently and follows through on assignments with minimal direction while keeping the team informed

  • Possess a mastery of basic/generic data skills (tools & concepts)

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and other guidelines where appropriate

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position

Agile Certified (CSM, CSPO, etc) is a plus

PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a plus
