This position will be filled as an Analyst II, III, or Sr depending on experience.


Assists in the development, management and execution of Information Technology stakeholder communications. Assists Entergy Corporate Communications in understanding and communicating IT concepts, initiatives, and challenges to internal and external audiences. The role is highly visible and will work with multiple stakeholders and span across several portfolios, corporate teams, IT groups and externals partners. This role will interact regularly with senior leadership and provide tactical and strategic leadership on multiple levels.

Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibility:

  • Identifies needs and opportunities for internal communications strategies and plans to effectively influence, inform, educate and engage using variety of media including electronic, video, podcast and printed collateral.

  • Creates, designs and writes complex publication materials, employee communications, bulletins, video scripts, and informational materials, for internal audiences with primary focus on Information Technology team members.

  • Work closely with the Information Technology executive team, leaders, and employees across functional groups to strategize, plan and implement high-quality, high-impact communications that advance the organization's mission and goals.

  • Partner with Corporate Business Services Communications to develop integrated communications programs and ensure development and delivery of consistent messages that achieve the organization's and program's outcomes.

  • Supports communication needs for Entergy Leadership, including: Town Halls, executive messaging, employee meetings, newletters, presentations, and business-related messaging.

  • Assists in maintaining editorial or departmental standards on behalf of Information Technology. May edit the work of and/or provide guidance and direction to other staff members and project teams.

  • Advises IT leadership, SME and influencers on appropriate media and strategies for communicating with business end users and Entergy leadership. Prepares or reviews materials to ensure adherence to good business communication principles.

  • Provides informal advice to project and program leads seeking input on effective communications strategies.

  • Assists with Information Technology’s adherence to Entergy's graphic standards and market branding, including strategies, materials and communication plans to support and promote major functional initiatives and projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant business communications experience.

  • Analyst II: 2-4 years of experience in IT communications or equivalent business communications.

  • Analyst III: 4-6 years of experience in IT communications or equivalent business communications.

  • Analyst Sr: 6+ years of experience in IT communications or equivalent business communications.

  • Demonstrated experience with multiple communication media and approaches.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong Leadership and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

  • Up to 25% travel required

  • Some experience writing video and podcast scripts preferred.

  • Some experience with SharePoint preferred.
