JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

As a key member of the Corporate Real Estate team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and project management of the portfolio strategy for Entergy’s real estate properties located throughout the U.S. in collaboration with functional leaders, customer service management, and business unit stakeholders. This position will report to the Manager, Corporate Real Estate.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in development and implementation of a multi-year strategic plan for the Entergy real estate portfolio.

  • Present real estate business cases to functional leaders to obtain real estate plan concurrence, establish budgets, consider regulatory filings, and accommodate operational requirements.

  • Provide project management though out real estate planning cycle (development to implementation).

  • Develop and maintain a strategic planning metrics regarding real estate and leasing information, personnel/space requirements, and operational costs for all Entergy facilities.

  • Work across multiple business jurisdictions, functions and geographies to determine the real estate requirements

  • Become a valued partner in the business strategic planning process to help align real estate strategy with business goals.

  • Calculate and display the impact of real estate policy on other corporate initiatives.

  • Illustrate the gap between the preferred portfolio and existing portfolio, and develop and display multiple scenarios, including financial analysis to close the gap.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education and experience required of the position

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field and 10+ years of recent experience related to this position OR in lieu of degree 14+ years of recent experience related to this position.

  • Desired Experience: Knowledge/experience in any of the following fields at Entergy: Accounting, Finance, Distribution Operations, or Regulatory.

  • Superior analytical skills with the ability to isolate factors critical for informed decision making.

  • Expert verbal communications skills

  • Expert written and visual communication skills including PowerPoint presentation capabilities.

  • Financial acumen and data modeling skills including Excel
