Shop Administrative Assistant
Location: New Berlin, WI
Division: Michels Tunneling
Employment duration: Full time
Employee Referral Bonus: Tier 3
The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
Promote safety – assist with the implementation of all applicable HSE programs, policies and procedures
Provide administrative needs of Tunneling Division Shop: assist with inventory control, parts organization and ordering, process time cards and work orders, assist with shipping and receiving of materials and equipment, recording and file keeping
Facilitate internal invoicing including updates to Accounts Payable for payment, pay applications and tracking of payment status.
Process Internal and External invoices via accounts payable or receivable
Work with other Michels Divisions such as the Transportation, Equipment, Supply Chain and DOT Operations
Other duties assigned.
1-3 years of related construction experience or parts inventory/warehouse experience.
Manage tight deadlines.
Positive attitude with the desire to continue learning.
High level of organization and attention to details.
Applicationts mush be able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with various levels of management.
Excellent computer software skills including Mircrosoft Office.
Experience with Fleet Focus a plus, but not required.
Other inventory, parts managment and or work order management software program experience a plus.
