Visit or for details.Position Description and Essential Functions:Laborers are an integral part of our crew. You will work with a team to safely complete underground utility construction projects. Duties for a laborer can be physically demanding and require working in an outdoor construction setting.What Do You Offer Us?

  • Load or assist with loading materials or equipment

  • Utilize hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities

  • Prepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job site

  • Assist in securing work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift

  • Prepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching.

  • Great attention and commitment to safety culture and company values.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Require a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Required License(s) or Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's license

Work Environment:The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Will be lifting, pushing, pulling or carries heavy objects; using abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support. Must have good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and balance. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Working hours are typically 5 days per week and 8 hours per day but from time to time may require 6 days per week and / or extended hours.
