The IT Security Engineer (IT Infrastructure Consultant - Security) is responsible for engineering, implementation and support of security controls and systems that enables the business to safely and securely use information and information technology to provide safe, reliable and affordable energy and excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities span both new security initiatives and ongoing security administration that include but are not limited to: •Protect enterprise information, intellectual assets and business operations from accidental or intentional disruption, disclosure or destruction•Support development of security architecture strategies•Identification of emerging needs and new security technologies•Provide leadership for security project planning and project management following defined project management methodology•Ensure effectiveness of security controls through maturing refinement of policies, procedures, standards, processes, technologies and services•Assist in the developing and maintaining policies and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g. NERC CIP, Sarbanes Oxley)•Provide security consulting to business clients and IT Services ensuring alignment of group activities with department, business unit and company strategies and objectives•Engineering and support activities for data security, computing network security and platform security•Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for cyber security incidents and problems.
