5022BRJob Title:GIS Specialist (Gas)Requisition Number:5022BRTitle:GIS Specialist (Gas)Location(s):WI - MilwaukeeCompany(s):We Energies Summary:We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a GIS Specialist -Gas, in our Milwaukee office.The principal duties of this position consist of creating, maintaining, and revising the GIS with updated gas facility land base information, by interpreting data furnished from GPS, engineering orders, annexations, easement documents, computer printouts, paving plans and various source maps together with other orders and memos showing changes to the company’s distribution system. Revise or create service records to reflect the gas service laterals. This information is maintained, updated, changed and corrected manually and/or by using interactive maintenance procedures. Performs other miscellaneous clerical duties as required or assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of GIS or CAD work experience in the past 5 years; or 1 year of GIS or CAD work experience within the past 5 years plus 4 completed courses in GIS technology from an accredited post-secondary vocational school or college, completed within the past 5 years; or have a certificate in GIS Technology or completed equivalent coursework (6 courses in GIS technology) from an accredited post-secondary vocational school or college, earned/completed within the past 5 years.Official transcripts are required at the time of your application.Preferred Qualifications:ESRI experience is preferred.
