As a Chief Estimator, your key responsibilities will be to have oversight of estimating staff and estimates, site reviews, and customer interactions related to the project. Work closely with the Divisional Management team regarding current and upcoming opportunities. Compile, analyze, and present estimating and historical project cost. Critical for success is the ability to embody the corporate culture in all interactions and demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer service. Strong communicaiton skills and attention to detail are a must.

    What it takes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, 8+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination

  • Prior estimating, field engineering, and/or project management experience with major heavy civil projects such as tunneling, water and wastewater, transportation, and structures

  • Positive attitude with the desire to continue learning and developing professionally

  • High level of organization and attention to details

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines

  • Negotiation experience

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with various levels of management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Bluebeam

  • Prior knowledge of HCSS, AutoCAD and P6 would be helpful
