Position Specific Description

If you’re interested in a fast-paced, high energy work environment come join our team. FPL Energy Services is hiring an Inside Sales Rep to support our growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving exceptional customer experience and delivering outstanding sales results. To be successful in this role you need to have a self-starter mentality with the ability to drive actions to closure. Successful Sales Reps could have the ability to earn an average of $25,000.00 in commission annually in addition to a $12/hour base rate. Working hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with occasional Saturday hours.

In addition to the Duties and Responsibilities below you should be able to:

• Effectively showcase products and services while persuading and closing the sale

• Up-sell additional products as the need arises

• Attend trainings to stay up to date with the specifications of new products and service offerings

• Support the mission, vision, and values of FPL Home/NextEra Energy

• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication

• Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure

• Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment

• Identify opportunities for improvement while creating and implementing viable solutions

The selected candidate for this role should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites; have great listening skills; exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills; a patient and empathetic attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish and 1 or more years’ experience in sales preferred.

Job Overview

This job is responsible for selling products and services such as home security, satellite, cable, local/long distance phone service, internet, and warranty products to Business and Residential customers. Employees in this role are responsible for selling in an inbound sales call environment.

  • Meets sales targets by product category

  • Uses program knowledge to align product and service solutions to customer needs

  • Works to find new sales leads

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
