About this Role

As a Field Service Technician Supervisor at Power Engineering, you will take ownership of their field service teams and ensure technicians are developing and able to accomplish all scopes of work. The Field Service Supervisor will also be responsible for helping identify hiring needs, job execution, assisting with scheduling, and technician development. It is expected that the Field Service Supervisor will work to complete all assigned jobs within the specified budget and provide feedback after jobs are complete.

What You'll Do

• Develop, train, and mentor junior field service technicians.

• Be the primary point of contact for all field service issues/requests and provide technical support to customers and internal PES Departments.

• Identify vehicle and equipment needs for junior technicians.

• Assist inside sales with estimating needs by providing technical guidance.

• Become primary point of contact for all matters associated with field services.

• Be responsible for the development of team members and providing solutions to fill manpower needs.

• Determine technician qualifications in conjunction with senior leadership.

What You'll Bring

• Associates Degree within a technical field

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, preferrred

• NETA certification level 3 or 4, required

• Proven experience in technical services management, with a focus on electrical systems and NETA 3 standards.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical testing procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management, documentation, and data analysis.
