This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose This position will develop and lead a process to analyze asset data and TVC records for use in IT systems such as ArcGIS, Synergi Pipeline, and Maximo for Gas Asset Management & Engineering. This includes managing records for assets such as transmission pipelines, transmission regulator/take stations, and LNG Plants. The key objective of this position is to deploy various techniques to process, analyze, and properly archive records related to asset attribute data, assessment data, and maintenance records with the objective to optimize asset replacement strategies using quantitative risk analysis. Ultimately, this will ensure that National Grid’s assets operating at transmission pressure meet the PHMSA guidelines for safe and reliable operation. ## Key Accountabilities Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): + Determine where gaps exist in records using existing data systems and supplemental data imports to create a full picture to determine asset health and asset risk scores + Review records and QA/QC them to determine if the records are traceable, verifiable, and complete + Manage digitized TVC records to ensure proper upload into document repository and manage the archiving strategy for paper TVC records + Develop reports to find data/record gaps and work to close record gaps + Assist in running models to analyze and optimize asset replacement/modernization strategies ## Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or a degree in Computer Science required + 1+ years of relevant experience in data systems required + Knowledge of gas utility assets and TVC records strongly preferred + Knowledge of current trends within the utility industry and developments in legislation or regulation related to PHMSA Pipeline rules, 49CFR192 DOT Pipeline Codes, ASME/ANSI B31.8 Code preferred + Valid driver's license required ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
