This is a salaried position


This position is located at the Customer Care Center and reports to the Customer Solutions Manager. The Residential Solutions Center Supervisor supports a team of 15-20 Sales Consultants, one Team Lead and will execute the business strategy for the team. Must be available during hours of operation 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and be available to work an on-call rotation. Relocation will not be provided.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with team lead to identify skill gaps to train, deliver feedback and coach to behaviors

  • Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, train, inspire and motivate employees

  • Builds strong relationships with the Sales Organization and third party vendors to share best practices

  • Applies strong decision making skills, including the ability to “manage in the gray”

  • Collaborates with the Strategy, Customer Experience and E-Business Teams to optimize customer satisfaction and sales

  • Collaborates and supports revenue growth through self-serve options

  • Manages to the metrics and coach to the behaviors of the team

  • Collaborates with Products and Services committee to create innovative ideas to grow revenue

  • Fosters relationships with internal and external key partners to provide solutions

  • Manages in a high activity environment where sales consultants are challenged, encouraged, and rewarded to meet/exceed goals

  • Evaluates and monitor individual performance of sales consultants to meet/exceed service level

  • Manages through continuous change

  • Uses sound discretion concerning confidential and sensitive information

  • Utilizes sound project management, strategic thinking, and problem resolution skills

  • This individual will communicate with all levels within the organization to ensure that the team meets and surpasses all customer expectations including customer satisfaction and all performance goals. The successful candidate will support and encourage career development and advancement opportunities



  • Four-year college degree or actively pursuing college degree preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Proven experience implementing sales strategies within a sales call center environment

  • Proven experience with hiring, training and getting results in a sales call center environment

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Requirements

  • Must be available to work outside of normal work schedule during severe weather, SERP (storm restoration) and/or high call volume which may include evenings, nights, and/or weekends

  • Must be available to work in the on-call rotation for the CCC which may include evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays

  • Must be available to assist the business needs with all call types.
