We are seeking an efficient, safety-minded Gas Fuser to join our team. This field worker is responsible for installing, inspecting and maintaining underground piping systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties listed below may vary in terms of importance and other duties may be added or eliminated as this position develops.

  • Perform all duties according to prescribed safety & utility procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.

  • Responsible for installing, inspecting and maintaining underground piping systems.

  • Use a hand shovel to dig around already installed pipelines

  • Test piping system for any leaks

  • Join pipes together through fusion

  • Help the operator of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • CDL strongly preferred as well as ability to drive manual transmission.

  • Mandatory fuse experience.

  • Able to travel to job sites throughout assigned territory.

  • Work performed in the field at various job sites in all weather conditions.

  • This is a union position with equivalent union wages and benefits.

  • Requires climbing, bending, turning, and lifting as part of entering and exiting excavations and manipulating tools and pipe.

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
