BWXT is currently seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer for its Lynchburg, VA location!
The Manufacturing Support Engineer works with Manufacturing Operators and Engineering support groups to address production area concerns.
Designs and implements continuous improvement actions in the manufacturing area.
Supports area training initiatives.
Provides engineering support to area waste management systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university plus two (2) years of experience is required.
Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment is required.
Must possess proven ability in tracking and trending data using Excel and/or other internal database systems.
Must be willing to work in a controlled area.
Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
