Position Purpose This intern position is responsible for assisting the IT Customer Service Application Development department. Under immediate supervision, assists in the support and delivery of information technology, providing quality, cost-effective and timely solutions. Seeking an intern candidate to work 20 to 40 hours per week (8am-5pm - Monday-Friday) with flexibility around the student's class schedule.
Required Education & Experience · Completed sophomore year of undergraduate studies with declared major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related discipline.
· Experience with SQL, Object Oriented programming, performance optimization and Web Services is preferred
· Ability to collaborate with others to build effective applications
· Minimum 3.00 GPA.
Job Description · Assists in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs documents and maintains simple programs.
· Support and enhance various Customer Service applications including: My Account Customer website, SAP Customer Information System, IVR Telephony applications.
· Manage multiple tasks while accurately maintaining record of work accomplishments
Perform other duties as directed and assigned by the manager
Work Conditions Normal office environment.
Physical Effort Minimal physical effort.
