Take lead in gathering and analyzing data from the Zycus, Oracle and other departmental systems as needed to perform analysis. Utilizes EiS reporting tool to gather information as well.
Formulate process improvement recommendations for both business review and data reporting processes. Aid with determining business needs by assimilating data from disparate sources in order to provide business solutions.
Assess reporting needs and formulate requirements based on those needs in order to provide reports that assist with improving business performance. Works with Supply Chain leaders to better understand their needs and wants.
Solves complex problems. Identifies, analyzes, compiles, and prepares information used to document root-cause analysis to support mitigation efforts.
Produce consolidated and sectionalized diverse supplier spend and bid opportunity reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to help ensure that supplier diversity goals are met or exceeded.
Track metrics on Supplier Diversity activities through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable systems and industry requirements.
Collect operational data related to Procurement activities and prepare statistical analyses, graphics, and presentations to demonstrate the effectiveness of the supplier diversity program.
Participate in benchmark studies as identified to support sharing of best practice data optimization techniques.
Develops and maintains deep understanding of the functionality of the Zycus and Oracle sourcing related systems including detailed technical training with internal and external system subject matter experts to develop or enhance this expertise.
Logs and reports incidents with Zycus in an articulate way and monitors status of supplier’s response to ensure issues identified are being addressed. Reviews proposed solutions and verifies solution is adequate.
Awareness of planned Zycus system releases and upgrades that would have an impact to the business and assess potential impacts to the system functionality and prepare or guide users through those upgrades/changes. This includes efforts to ensure testing of these changes occurs in staging environment which may include developing/approving test scripts, securing testing resources from business areas and IT and providing results of the testing to the Review Committee and supplier as needed.
Provides direction to the designated LKE Zycus system administrators that manage user access and roles, update settings, change metadata fields, edit module configurations approved by Review Committee, and other tasks.
Serves as a member of the Zycus Review Committee and coordinates with other members on the development of metrics derived from the system and enhanced report utilization.
Reviews internal improvement forms (change requests) with Zycus Review Committee to assess responses and actions.
Participant in discussions with Zycus technical team in addressing improvement opportunities, defects and incidents. Coordinates involvement with IT groups and business champions for these discussions when needed.
Think innovatively. Drive data-supported decision making through research and application of data science principles and techniques.
Annually run reports to assist in efforts for cleaning up the Zycus and Oracle databases.
Communicate clearly and strategically to leaders at all levels of the company (in oral presentations, written reports, and emails).

Primarily sitting with optional standing and walking between personal workspace and meeting with others in different areas.

A successful academic or work background indicating a demonstrated ability to absorb information, apply conceptual skills in practical applications, achieve desired results in a highly technical, operating environment and make appropriate recommendations to management on a timely basis. Proficiency in defining appropriate approach to meet non-technical business objectives. Ability to leverage a functional working knowledge of automated systems with an understanding of the business requirements.
Demonstrated ability to develop, design, co-ordinate, and lead end-user training a plus.
Ability to use Quest, Zycus, Avetta, Oracle, and other systems providing input to the strategic sourcing and accounting systems and processes.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPivot, Visio, ORACLE ERP, or EiS Reporting Tool.
Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite for spreadsheet, presentation and database packages with relevant experience with automated procurement, purchasing and inventory systems preferred.
Normal office environment. Periodic travel to Company operations centers and warehouse facilities may occur.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Accounting, or applicable field is required with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

This position will function as an internal analyst at the intermediate level and is expected to continually increase their knowledge of the Supply Chain departmental functions and awareness of how they interact with other lines of business (LOB) areas. This position will contribute to the analysis of process improvement initiatives and information sharing across the procurement and supplier databases. This position will be responsible for the retrieval, analysis, presentation and sharing of relevant data in regard to supplier information, contracting, sourcing, supplier diversity, and other related data to identify trends, forecast levels of projected usage, and track performance metrics on a regular basis across all of the procurement groups.
This position will include further integration, optimization of usage and management of resources for support of the Zycus strategic sourcing system and Oracle. Also serves as a liaison between the functional Zycus users and the information technology (IT) team to improve supply chain transaction processing efficiency and technology utilization. This position is responsible for and provides functional users support for the Supply Chain departments and their internal customers though coordination with key business line system users.
