AnIT Business and Financial Systems Internwillassistin various areas related to business and financial systems within our Information Technology division. We’re looking for someone who can maintain a high degree of situational awareness to meet continually changing conditions with a fresh and adaptable approach. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to pushforward AECC’smission.
This is a part-time 12-month position which will require an average of 15-18 hours per week during the hours of 8:00am – 5:30pm. We can work around your class schedule within those hours.
Assist with department administrative responsibilities for invoicing and expense reporting.
Learn advanced Microsoft Office365 skills to develop SharePoint pages, PowerApps, Workflows, and PowerBI analytics.
Learn IBMi system development tools and make program changes to various applications using RPGfree, CL, PHP, HTML, etc.
Occasionally assist with workstation support as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent
Full-time student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
Completed coursework or experience in at least two of the following areas:
Developing data structures and/or database design.
Writing programs using web application programming languages.
Using business analytics tools for compiling information and making dashboard presentations.
Technologically adept with moderate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.
Exceptional writing skills
Good communication skills
Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
