CORE COMPETENCIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Job Technical Skills – Responsible for providing customer service to District Energy Corporation (DEC) customers as well as coordinating and providing support for assigned areas. Specific responsibilities include ensuring accurate DEC revenue metering, performing basic data analysis, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, leading special projects, assisting with budget development and tracking, serving as subject matter expert on records retention and technological solutions, and supporting board activities. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Provides professional customer service, documents key customer interactions and account activities and follows up in a professional manner with customers having delinquent payments.
Uploads, validates, and analyzes data from several sources to identify industry and customer trends and works with peers to resolve data integrity issues.
Solicits, receives, and negotiates proposals from vendors for DEC site maintenance services.
Leads special projects and assists with leading small capital projects.
Creates documentation and analyzes current business processes while identifying process gaps and creates ‘to-be’ process documentation to resolve them.
Coordinates and manages the scheduling, agendas, resolutions, public notices, meeting minutes preparation, and logistical support for DEC Board meeting and Board Committee meetings.
Prepares and reviews reports, presentations, and/or related materials for internal and external use and delivery.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in related field, and
Four years of progressively responsible experience in area of assignment; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
