The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst is responsible for managing real estate assets and/or negotiating real estate transactions with 3rd parties. Transactions assignments may include but are not limited to: telecommunications and facility leasing, and land leasing. This individual will serve as the primary interface between the external customer and internal stakeholders and is responsible for creating contracts and negotiating real estate transaction terms and conditions that give consideration to current and future operational and business needs. This individual will work closely with third parties including individuals, business entities and governmental agencies.
Level of Supervision Required: Close (assignments are clearly defined)/General/Independent
The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst position works independently with minimal supervision supporting a large number of highly complex transactions, of major scope and importance, and is given wide latitude for independent action and decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage Real Estate Transactions
a) Make sound business decisions b) Research, analyze and interpret property rights c) Prioritize requests and workload d) Negotiates terms and conditions of real estate contracts. e) Resolve highly complex property rights issues. f) Recognize, understand and evaluate business risk as part of the decision making process. Manages multiple projects or requests, monitor workload / status / progress. g) Routinely communicates with internal stakeholders and external customers on status or progress.
a) Internal and External client alignment assessment of needs b) Identification and implementation of processes / procedures to enhance client / customer experience. c) Development & implementation of asset management strategies

This individual needs to be self-motivated and detailed in their abilities. This position requires organizational abilities in keeping track of, prioritizing, and managing schedules and deadlines.
Effectively negotiate with external customers for various land rights.
Effectively communicate with internal customers to understand impact of requests and identify and negotiate solutions that protect current and future operational and business needs.
Analysis and interpretation of existing real estate documents found within the company’s document management system.
Ability to understand and analyze operational and business needs and concerns and develop transaction terms & conditions that give appropriate considerations to all issues.

Read and determine the impact, rights and restrictions contained in legal documents and contracts associated with land rights.
Ability to interpret survey drawings, engineering, construction and plan and profile drawings, title, abstracts.
Working knowledge of property valuation.
General knowledge of gas and electric construction techniques

Strong Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively with diverse client/customer base (public, attorneys, landowners, developers, legal, clients, Sr. Management). Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders to gain an understanding of operational concerns and issues. Ability to clearly communicate key issues in writing and verbally.
Ability to lead and facilitate meetings to resolve issues and concerns. Ability to present to large groups.

Real Estate Law knowledge
Able to use MS Word, Excel, Power Train, SharePoint, Tableau, Outlook
Additional preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work and educational experience
SR/WA designation preferred
Position will be filled at the appropriate salary grade based upon the skills, knowledge, and experience of the selected candidate.
