The following is a general plan for a three-year Process Integration Engineer for the Klamath Energy facilities. It is not meant to be all inclusive but an outline of what is initially expected. The project will be dynamic and change as needs require. There are two general expectations for this position: 1) the Process Integration Engineer will learn the details of the Klamath Energy maintenance processes, make recommendations for improvement and implement the recommendations that are approved and 2) will work with the appropriate groups in Portland to integrate all the Klamath Drawings into the Renewables database. This position will have no direct reports, will work closely with the Klamath Energy Maintenance Manager and the Klamath Energy Principal Engineer while reporting to the Senior Director Klamath Energy.
Dissect the KE maintenance plans / processes and determine the effectiveness of each element of the existing maintenance process.
Identify existing weaknesses or omissions associated with each element of the existing maintenance process.
Provide reports containing recommendations for improvement.
Develop a detailed plan to implement the approved recommendations for improving the processes.
Work with maintenance staff and Principal Engineer to refine the existing short-term maintenance plan.
Work with maintenance staff and Principal Engineer to develop an accurate long-term maintenance plan including timing and cost projections.
Update/improve and maintain the existing CMMS program, MP2. This includes ensuring accuracy of each task and periodicity.
Clean up and refresh the existing preventative maintenance work orders (PM) schedule and plan.
Create new PMs where required and delete non-essential PMs.
Improve corrective maintenance (CM) work order development.
Improve the reporting abilities in MP2.
Evaluate the effectiveness of MP2 as it applies to KEs maintenance plan.
Train Personnel as required on MP2 and other maintenance process improvements.
Track all major milestones regarding Short-term maintenance plan with anticipated costs.
Track all major milestones regarding Long-term maintenance plan with anticipated costs.
Work with Maintenance and Purchasing to assist with the development of packages for labor (services) and/or materials.
Work with Maintenance, the Principal Engineer and Purchasing to assist with all aspects of the purchasing requirements such as bid evaluation, ITEO creation, sole source documents, reference pricing and management committee presentation development.
Evaluate and improve the KE work scope template and guidelines. Work with Engineering for drawing and equipment list updates

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or any other applicable discipline.
2-3-year CCGT power plant experience or equivalent.
Experience with heavy industry maintenance programs, scheduling, procurement, compliance, etc. procurement, compliance, etc.
Experience with, or ability to learn in-depth aspects of the MP2 CMMS system.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
Must have good leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate work with other internal divisions.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
Strong teamwork abilities.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Combined and Simple Cycle Power Plant experience.
Siemens 501F technology experience.
Alstom Steam Turbine experience.
Pratt & Whitney aero derivative gas turbine experience.
CMMS, MP2 experience.
Electrical and Instrumentation equipment experience.
Siemens T3000 and ABB (Bailey) Infi-90 DCS experience.
