Expected salary range of $110,700 to $123,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of Power plant operations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.

  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications and all regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Engineering, and 5+ years professional experience.

  • Has demonstrated solid or better results for at least 2 years and works independently in assigned areas of knowledge and skills.

  • Has completed assigned skills and knowledge development training to broaden and deepen knowledge in select areas.

  • Demonstrated ability to assist/mentor junior engineers on technical issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledgeable in control system design, instrument set points, controllers, DCS.

  • Demonstrated ability to assist/mentor junior engineers on technical issues.

  • Higher level of accountability than an Engineer 2.

  • Demonstrated proficiency leading cross functional initiatives at an asset/plant.
