Position Specific Description
This internship position will support Power Delivery Information Technology’s Center for Work Excellence team which focuses on redefining work processes for PD and developing systems to manage field work management and roll out of those applications to the field. The team uses Salesforce Platform for building the applications with a low or no code option, configuring the platform to meet the business needs.
Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project and work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the business analysts, developers, Salesforce Admins, and other agile team members.
Potential opportunities include:
Configuration of Salesforce applications as needed
Scripting and creating reports
End to end testing
Supporting and improving adoption of the software
Help with Salesforce administration as needed
Education, Experience, Skills
Academic focus in Engineering, Marketing, or Computer Science. Business Administration and Economics courses/experience are a plus.
A student of how technology interaction and User Experience impacts business performance.
Excellent teamwork and project management capabilities
To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assists department with assigned projects
Completes challenging projects and assignments
Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
High school grad / GED
Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
