Position Specific Description

The Integrated Supply Chain Department is looking for a Sourcing Leader to join their team in Juno Beach, FL. The Sourcing Leader manages a team of sourcing professionals in the development of sourcing strategies and the execution of the orders required to support operations in line with these strategies. This position is responsible for managing the sourcing activities across our new business lines – distributed generation solar and battery storage, electric mobility including our Greenlane JV with Blackrock and Daimler, and our Everbright residential solar business. Sourcing would include services such as EPCs and materials such as electric chargers. The sourcing lead would apply commercial and technical concepts to sourcing opportunities to ensure value for the organization. Effective communications within the supply chain organization as well as with our DG, mobility, and Everbright leaders, stakeholders and suppliers will be the key to success.

This position supervises sourcing functions within the Integrated Supply Chain. This includes implementing policies and programs directed towards providing contracted services and materials; directs the development and execution of contracts; oversees staffing, recruiting, training, and coaching of direct reports including performance reviews.

Job Functions

• Supervise a team of two Sourcing Specialists, coaching and directing the sourcing team to drive down the total cost of ownership and increase business unit productivity

• Identifies issues and challenges, determines potential solutions, and executes to resolution

• Engages with internal customers to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies to business unit objectives

• Liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement-related problems and issues

• Ensures that all project documentations are in compliance with the procurement process manual and maintained accurately

• Provides logistics support for storm restoration

• Increase efficiency by continually improving the sourcing process, driving standardization of common items and eliminating waste

• Interacts with assigned operating business units, legal experts, and other ISC personnel. Key decisions and/or recommendations include sourcing strategy, negotiation strategy, contract award, and supplier management

• Oversee the management of the supplier base, ensuring new sources of supply are being continually developed and that ongoing supplier performance is being monitored

Preferred Skils/Qualifications

• Bachelor' Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields

• 5+ years or more of Supply Chain/Sourcing experience

A leader in this role leads teams comprised of cross-departmental members, to execute on business improvement efforts and projects assigned by management.
