Position Specific Description In this role, you will lead the due diligence, development, and management approval process for acquisitions of distributed generation solar PV projects, that sell power to commercial, government and utility power purchasers.

You will work directly with subject matter experts including the origination, development, legal, and construction teams, to identify risks and confirm documentation necessary to successfully acquire and operate solar sites. You will coordinate cross-functional deal teams, and will be the point of contact for inputs to analysis and third party consultants, prepare deal rationale and technical analysis for senior management. Additionally, you will work closely with the various internal departments, local jurisdictions and utilities to ensure necessary development items are obtained and are satisfactory including permitting, incentives, interconnection, and registrations/certifications.

This is a great opportunity to develop your commercial and negotiating skills specific to M&A ,and manage relationships with external counterparties and internal stakeholders.

Candidates with an MBA, and experience with Mergers & Acquisitions ( M&A ) or prior investment banking highly preferred.

This role will is based in our Juno Beach, FL office and will require occasional travel.

Job Overview

Employees in this role assist in the development and execution of plans for new and enhanced generation projects. This job coordinates allocation of resources, schedules, and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position participates in all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints. Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads and facilitates the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive result
  • Coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
  • Supports due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
  • Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
  • Assists in the construction of contractual arrangements for project development
  • Participates in negotiating agreements with consultants and subcontractors
  • Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
  • Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 3+ years
