Position Specific Description

In this role you will report to the Executive Director of Distributed Generation (DG) Greenfield Development and be responsible for completing administrative documentation work to support the Greenfield and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) development teams. To be successful in this role you must be detailed oriented, flexible and adaptable, team player, balance ever changing priorities, and be willing to tackle any assignment given to you with a positive attitude.

At the start, this role will be 100% focused on ensuring all projects are successfully handed from the Development Team to Engineering and Construction and then to Business Management. There are multiple administrative requirements that must be completed before these handoffs can occur and this position is responsible for ensuring those requirements are met. As this role matures, it will be incrementally expanded to include completing paperwork, managing documents, completing required regulatory filings, submitting payment requests, collecting signatures for documents, etc… for the Development team.

In this role you must interface consistently and effectively with numerous subject matter experts (SMEs), including but not limited to origination, development, engineering & construction, environmental, commercial legal, real estate legal, tax, accounting, and origination. The ability to build strong working relationships will be instrumental in being successful in this role.

T his is not an administrative assistant position (managing calendars, meetings, etc…) but a Development Administrator. The Development Administrator does administrative tasks but with the focus of advancing projects in development forward. The ideal candidate will be excited about renewable energy and interested in learning about project development as they complete their administrative tasks. This is a platform to get into the development team and a potential pathway to growing into a project developer.

There is expected to be minimal, if any, travel. The position will be based in our Juno Beach, FL office.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and completes projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines

  • Maintains thorough knowledge of new developments and technology pertaining to the projects

  • Monitors and recommends changes for improvement

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
