Position Specific Description

This position is responsible for handling Property Damage Claims asserted against the company. Additional qualifications include: Experience handling property damage claims Electrical utility or similar knowledge/experience Strong investigative skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. This position is located in Juno Beach, FL.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

Subrogation experience is a plus

Adjusters license

Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Overview

Employees in this job are responsible for handling property damages claims asserted by or against the company. Individuals investigate and evaluate each assigned claim to determine liability, bills, and/or negotiate satisfactory settlements of property damage claims when liability is found.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision:

• Investigates, evaluates and negotiates satisfactory settlements of personal injury and major property damage claims

• Provides support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony

• Provides support to peers, and training to new Specialists

• Provides support and assistance to Service Centers to resolve claims matters

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

• High School Grad / GED

• Experience:2+ years

• Bachelor's Degree
