Position Specific Description

We are looking for an innovative and dynamic Business Analyst who is passionate about renewable energy. As a Business Analyst II, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain KPI dashboards, analyze results, and provide ongoing analysis and reporting related NEER’s renewable energy portfolio. This person will be responsible for conducting complex data analysis leveraging various analytics platforms. You will be part of a growing team of experts who not only provide excellent inputs and analysis but are also customer service oriented with internal stakeholders.

Your goal will be to help the team understand the health of NEER’s current and future project portfolio, drive key insights, grow self-service adoption and make recommendations to improve data pipelines, KPI’s and overall business decision making. The candidate is a strong problem solver, blending creative and analytical skills to solve challenging and complex problems. You will use analysis, visualization, and experiments to drive cross-organizational visibility and clarity into our growing business.

As an internal consultant, you will be expected to work collaboratively with Developers and Originators to improve our current suite of dashboards to do more of works, less of what doesn’t, and, to ultimately drive metrics that matter across the business. You are a great communicator and will interface cross-functionally with almost all groups within NEER.

As a key member of our Business Analytics team, you will be working in a fast-paced, agile environment with passionate leadership and the ability to make an impact enterprise-wide.

Job duties

  • Maintain current suite of Power BI dashboards

  • Responsible for ad hoc data requests, involving data extraction, analysis and effective PowerPoint presentations

  • Create and maintain KPI dashboards/data visualizations and provide ongoing reporting related portfolio health

  • Help frame knowledge requests and ensure the quality and delivery of research, analysis, intelligence, and other intellectual capital supports

  • Interpret data, analyze results, and articulate measurement needs, turn this into an action plan, and execute and deliver recommendations

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and help maintain NEER market share reporting

  • Translate data needs into projects that answer specific questions and generate insights that can drive growth

  • Provide deep insights and analysis across NEER’s project portfolio and support ongoing requests with these insights

  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operation and/or technical support to business operations

  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects

  • Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

  • Experience: 2+ years
