Position Specific Description
The Data Analyst will be responsible for fleet level data analysis of a geographically dispersed portfolio of distributed generation assets comprising of rooftop, ground mount, and carport solar PV, battery energy storage systems, water reclamation plants, and combined heat & power plants. Analysis will involve creating, managing, and organizing large data sets of meta-data, operational performance data, and financial data to draw key business insights to guide day-to-day operational decision making and long term strategic decision making.
Employees in this role support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. This position supports budgeting and forecasting, analyzing P and L variance, participating in ad hoc and special projects.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts basic operational analyses that supports informed decision making within the business unit, under the direction of a supervisor
Leads small to medium sized special projects
Performs quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
