Liberty Utilities Network Analyst in Joplin, Missouri

THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED OUT OF OAKVILLE, ON, CA OR JOPLIN, MO, USA
The Network Analyst’s role is to coordinate and ensure the integrity of the Network for voice, data, and video equipment and its associated network connections. This includes securing, configuring and optimizing all network systems and services, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based services. Also, the Network Analyst’s mandate will be to maintain SLAs for all organizational network and applications.
Serve as a subject matter expert for network routing, switching, firewalls, remote access, and other LAN and WAN technologies
Work with vendors, business users and other resources to assess and understand technologies and develop proposed beneficial technical solutions
Ability to analyze stakeholder requirements and convert into secure solutions
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Support high availability and ensure uptime consistent with the organization's business requirements
Participates in configuration of monitoring tools and alert mechanisms
Assist and/or Lead IT Infrastructure Capital Projects
Assist in improving and maintaining security posture across the infrastructure services and equipment in line with security and regulatory policies
Identify technology gaps and work to evaluate and select appropriate value-add solutions and innovations
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
Ensures appropriate compliance and audit requirements are met
Support day-to-day operation of network infrastructure and services
Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation and respond to outages related to network infrastructure and services
Experience designing, developing and deploying network infrastructure in the enterprise network environment.
Knowledge in network and wide area network routing and switching solutions
Knowledge in security solutions including next generation firewalls, IPS and IDS
Experience with datacenter technologies
Experience with voice and video solutions; Cisco CUCM, voice gateways, SIP Protocol, video devices, Webex on Prem,
Self-motivated with an ability to multi-task and prioritize across competing initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing technical landscapes
Ability to communicate with business partners from many different backgrounds and technical abilities

University or College Equivalent information technology
