The development, and management and implementation of work week schedules related to on-line maintenance activities the work weeks assigned or the long-range plan that coordinates the work week schedules.
The coordination, scheduling, monitoring and when appropriate, planning for contingencies, modifying the duration of planned maintenance activities, and resolve conflicts and delays as necessary.
Ensures the work schedules are sufficiently resource loaded to maximize maintenance effectiveness.
Acts as the overall single point of contact (SPOC) for the schedule to properly coordinate/align the workweek's activities.
Coordinates and manages emergent work into the on-line schedule and the potential impact on scheduled work.
Conducts pre/post-work week meetings. This includes chairing the daily Work Control Team meeting and assigned T-meetings.
Prepares detailed reports and feedback to management on identified obstacles and risk significant impacts.
Reviews and understands the risk analysis for the projected on-line schedules and schedule changes.
Serves as the project manager for work week activities and as the lead for large online activities.
Supports the implementation of outage schedules as requested by Outage and Planning to ensure on-line schedule integration.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
At least 7+ years of nuclear plant experience in the Maintenance, Operations, and/or Outage and Planning areas.
Proven experience leading teams or major projects required.
Knowledge of plant specifications, method and procedures for the performance of mechanical, electrical, I & C and computer systems maintenance functions.
Effective communication skills, ability to foster cooperation and interrelationships which support the planning and scheduling of work week activities
Knowledge and experience in the use of Primavera P-6 and CMMS or Maximo is preferred.
A BS Degree in Engineering or science related field directly related nuclear power plant experience in lieu of the 5 years’ experience.
A current or previous SRO license or SROC preferred, but not required.
Maintaining the required qualifications and proficiency of the Work Week Coordinator position is required (minimum 2 work weeks per cycle). .
Note:An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor.
