Position Specific Description Under limited supervision this position is responsible for sales of turnkey facility lighting upgrades and new construction lighting contracts to private sector commercial and industrial clients in the Miami-Dade County area. The ideal Lighting Sales Rep must have extensive experience and comfort with door-to-door hunting and cold calling. The sales representative must be comfortable prospecting customers of all levels within their organization, working with accuracy, integrity, and urgency.

The candidate must be able to learn lighting terms and technology, learn the process and procedures of regulated and unregulated lighting sales, and work within a team format. This individual must have a documented successful record in area of high volume outside sales. The ideal candidate must be driven with an outgoing personality who can easily develop relationships. This position will form new business contacts to successfully develop this sales territory.

The work location is flexible. Work from a home office covering the Jacksonville area.

Job Overview This job is responsible for sales of turnkey end use facility infrastructure upgrades to private sector commercial and industrial clients throughout Florida. The primary focus will be on lighting upgrades, but additional equipment could include HVAC, building control systems, backup power systems, power quality protection devices. Employees in this role will establish business contacts to successfully develop sales territory.

Job Duties & Responsibilities • Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices, and new products • Keeps records and prepares reports on sales activities • Meets established sales quota • Monitors competitive activity and trends within the territory • Determines priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and sales maintenance • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • High School Grad / GED • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience • Experience:5+ years Preferred Qualifications • None
