A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine brightly!
Design, develop, and deliver exercises in accordance with Business Resiliency and company objectives and goals
Improve our level of exercise design and exercise delivery engagement
Provide subject matter expertise with design and implementation of complex exercises and drills
Evaluate exercises and implement corrective actions
Serve as one of the company’s authorities for emergency management, incident response, and emergency operations, including the National Incident Management System and Incident Command System
Engage external emergency management leaders at the state, local and Federal level, and with utility industry professionals
Support real-world incidents as an emergency management subject matter authority
Seven years of experience working in emergency management with public entities; or a combination of public and private sector experience
Four years work in crafting and delivering emergency or resiliency related exercises or trainings, or comparable initiatives related to disaster preparedness
Bachelor’s degree in technical subject area or equivalent combination of experience and training
Four years emergency management response, planning, training, and/or exercise design experience
Involvement at the local, state, or federal level with senior level exercise program implementation, to include both discussion-based and functional exercises
Experience providing consultation services to a large electric or other utility
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Involvement at the local, state, or federal level with training program implementation
