Reports To: Vice President – Field Operations

Job Summary: Position works out of the corporate office developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively navigate, pursue, and engage with lead management software to determine authentic NETA testing opportunities

  • Engage and partner with Electrical Contractors, Engineering Firms and EPC Companies that reside in field service territories

  • Develop estimates, proposals, and further sales efforts of “house accounts”

  • Provide strategic realignment with past clients and generate proposals for repeat business

  • Work with Region Project Coordinators when awarded projects to develop work orders and hand over to operations team

  • Prepare NETA maintenance, acceptance and commission testing estimates, proposals and work packets based on customer requests

  • Coordinate with technicians and supervisors when sales opportunities arise

  • Enter and track proposal activity in company enterprise relationship software, ISM

  • Actively participate in bi-weekly meetings with the organizations sales team to discuss potential or existing issues, current sales opportunities and proposal follow up

  • Serves as a customer contact and liaison for clients

  • Performs marketing support as needed

  • Must have excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail

  • Communicates effectively, in writing and verbally, with customers, peers, management and owners

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure to meet goals and deadlines

  • Must have superb follow up ability

  • Must be advanced in utilizing computer for daily recordkeeping, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must have the ability to learn Infor Service Management Software

  • Must have knowledge in electrical testing estimate and proposal development

Work Environment:

  • Must be located within 60 miles of a Premier Power Maintenance Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN

  • Must be willing to take calls and travel outside of normal business hours

  • Position will be able to do a majority of their work from the office, approximately 20% of the time will be spent outside for walkthroughs and customer meetings

Education and Work Experience:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED, Military experience is preferred but not required

  • Higher Education or Industry Certifications are preferred

  • Prefer experience in electrical substation testing sales or account management

  • Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, manuals, and schematics

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background, education verification, motor vehicle report, physical abilities test and an approved drug screen

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
