Position Specific Description We are seeking a Digital Innovation Intern. Our interns are key members of the Digital Innovation team which is focused on utilizing technologies to create solutions which help our customers. You will gain valuable experience understanding how different functional areas (i.e. sales, marketing, operations, etc.) come together to create leading edge solutions. You will be expected to make meaningful contributions that help drive our success. Opportunities will be created to allow you to interact with different parts of the organization and learn what it’s like to work in a fast pace organization and what it takes to succeed.

Interns are key members of the Innovation team and report directly to the Director of Digital Innovation. Interns work with cross functional teams of SMEs to analyze, develop, and implement solutions to strategic/complex problems. Interns are expected to be able to work as a team as well as independently. They will be expected to provide periodic progress updates and are given opportunities to improve presentation skills by presenting to peers as well as management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Learning Agility- Willingness to learn by doing. Ability to adapt to new problems and challenges.
  • Demonstrated collaboration with others (i.e. work as a team player).
  • Ability to create solutions based on ideation sessions
  • Familiar with software programming techniques, user interface design, and data analysis
  • Familiar with or ability to learn how to utilize data to infer insights and predictions (i.e. data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks)
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing conflicting priorities and workloads
  • Equally adept in discussing business strategy and technology know how.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Digital-Oriented degree program. Degree can be Business, Marketing, or Engineering with strong business and technical background

Job Overview Employees in the role will be provided mentoring and practical hands on experience for relevant career-related activities encountered in the student’s area of study or specialization. To be considered for this position the applicant must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. Candidate must also have a current GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
