Position Specific Description Come join our team! We are seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives who has a passion for financial modeling and business development in deregulated retail energy markets. The selected candidate for this exceptional opportunity will have broad responsibility for identifying and leading strategic initiatives for Gexa and NextEra Energy’s Retail business including, but not limited to: mergers and acquisitions, market segmentation and expansion, customer analytics and product development. With the objective of identifying and operationalizing incremental EBITDA for the Retail business, the ideal candidate must possess strong financial acumen and operational domain expertise. This individual will interact regularly with the broader NextEra Energy Resources organization including corporate M&A, valuation, legal, finance, tax, strategy, wholesale supply and retail pricing, and at all levels of management. For the targeted projects, this individual will lead valuations and actively participate in deal structuring and confidential contract negotiations.

Job Overview This job will use business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities • Provides thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy • Conducts both client and market development to grow the business • Consults with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategy and operating success • Develops conclusions and recommendations, writes reports, assists in client presentations and provides implementation assistance as required • Constructs the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leads the problem solving process associated • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • High School Grad / GED • Bachelor's Degree • Experience:8+ years • Supervisor/Management Experience:2+ years Preferred Qualifications • Master's Degree
