Title: Digital Campaigns & Communications Specialist

Work Location: Houston, TX

Description: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Campaigns & Communications, the Digital Campaigns & Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing Iberdrola's consumer marketing strategy for the company's newly created e-Solutions organization. This person will support the strategic design, implementation, and management of a range of online and offline communication strategies to ultimately grow awareness and drive sales for Iberdrola's U.S. energy plans and product offerings.

This role will work across multiple functional areas including internal sales and operations, digital marketing, product management, creative services, and external agencies as well as customers.

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support and manage the creative development of promotional materials, social media content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects

• Assist in the management of marketing campaigns covering new products, services, operational and customer messaging, and customer satisfaction

• Act as a champion for all aspects of digital marketing and constantly be looking for new and upcoming ways to talk to our customers by thinking like a start-up

• Assist in the preparation and drafting of various communications (email, social media, blogs, etc.)

• Assist in tracking of all marketing and sales data to support development of detailed written reports and verbal presentations

• Research and analyze market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information

• Engage and collaborate with national teams including Digital, Sales, Product Development, Retail Administration and Customer Care to ensure their requirements are effectively incorporated into any campaign

• Help manage marketing guidelines covering tone of voice and copywriting, working alongside legal and regulatory departments and covering all aspects of translation required for both English and Spanish speaking customers (fluency in Spanish is a plus, although not required)

• Understand the business and customer requirements

• Proactively identify and resolve issues in a timely and decisive manner, or escalate as appropriate


• Bachelor's degree in journalism, PR, communications, advertising, marketing, or a related field

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus

• 2-4 years of relevant marketing or digital experience - energy experience is a plus

• Genuine interest in green energy, innovation, and sustainability

• Outstanding communication and writing skills, presets clear and compelling arguments, demonstrates sound judgment, impeccable follow through, self-starter, able to see big picture and immediate needs simultaneously

• Collaborative and highly motivated with a proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

• Comprehensive understanding of the overarching mission of the company and how it relates to all decisions made

• Sound project management skills with the ability to manage multiple missions while prioritizing effectiveness and efficiency

• Strategic mindset, but must be able to execute at a tactical level; ability to react quickly and work against tight deadlines

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to interact with a range of people at various levels

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; team player; welcomes feedback; inquisitive nature

• Previous experience supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns

• Be flexible for travel at least 30% of the time
