Position Specific Description Gexa Energy has open positions forAssociate Customer Service Representatives. As we continue to grow, we need high caliber, experienced individuals to join our team. The successful candidate will have the preferred experience of at least one year in a customer service-oriented role in a call center and/or in retail; sales experience, knowledge of basic computer operations, multiple tasking, and data entry. The ability to learn and support various call types including billing, sales, and commercial. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

If you are selected for an Associate Customer Service Representative role you will attend a training class. The Training Class will be held Monday – Friday for approximately 3 to 4 weeks. Once you successfully pass the training class you will be transitioned to the call center where you will be staffed for full-time shifts. Call center hours are: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 8:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00am - 2:00pm. Candidates MUST be available to work during hours of operations which may include overtime and some holidays.

Job Overview This job is responsible for providing a variety of services to inbound and outbound callers through the application of knowledge of our organization, its services and products.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under direct supervision: • Processes a variety of customer transactions in accordance with established guidelines and procedures • Confirms customer understanding of the solution and provides additional customer education as needed • Prepares, completes and updates customer files • Communicates effectively with individuals/teams in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests • Offers customer solutions to issues that are often non-standard/non-routine and require some clarification • Participates in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance • Refers customers to sales for upsell opportunities • Maintains broad knowledge of client products and services for superior customer service • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • High School Grad / GED • Experience:0+ years Preferred Qualifications • Associate's Degree
