National Grid Property Manager / Relationship Manager in Hicksville, New York

To develop and maintain a property portfolio that is resilient and reliable, and provide cost-effective services, streamline processes, and improve return on investments. To support and help drive the overall business relationship between National Grid and it’s largest Tenant for all business segments within the NY Jurisdiction, responsible for proper interpretation and compliance of all lease obligations and to assist in the identification, escalation, and management of any contractual or relationship issues as required.
Act as Property/Relationship Manager for all inquiries, problem resolution and contract compliance matters.
In depth understanding of all contractual arrangements between National Grid and it’s largest tenant – covering all business segments to resolve contractual performance issues.
Lead and develop strong relationships with key contacts to represent National Grid interests and to initiate appropriate escalations and remediation efforts as necessary.
Responsible for financial operations of the properties by overseeing and authorizing billings of rent, operating expense statements and any other invoice to our Tenant.
Monitor all receivables and insure timely payments.
Produce and maintain financial statements.
Ad-Hoc reporting as needed.
Bachelor's or Advanced degree required.
Property / Relationship Management experience required.
Lease Administration experience preferred.
Able to interpret and communicate contractual obligations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and leverage business relationships in a positive manner with leadership.
Analytical and influencing skills to be able to help foster decision making.
PMO experience and financial knowledge preferred.
Willing to stretch knowledge base to master new responsibilities.
Creative problem-solving to find effective solutions for a variety of potential issues.
