Job Summary

This position's purpose is to analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. This position ensures the successful completion of the process improvement portfolio projects, both leading projects and managing a team. The position manages, mentors, and develops Performance Improvement Analysts to be able to to lead enterprise wide Continuous Improvement projects. In addition, the position collaborates with senior management to prioritize strategic initiatives and allocation of resources in support of business goals and Operation Services Agreement KPI's.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages, mentors, and develops Performance Improvement Analyst/Project Leader’s and their ability to lead enterprise wide CI projects

  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements

  • Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures and process changes that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and efficiency

  • Develops a consistent methodology to measure process improvement performance against targets and maintains standards for all training programs and materials

  • Defines how the scope, goals and deliverables of projects should support business goals and Operation Services Agreement KPI's, in collaboration with senior management

  • Assists businesses in the prioritization of projects and allocation of resources to ensure successful completion of the process improvement portfolio

  • Works with management and businesses associates to address the company’s business process issues

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 9 years of relevant work experience, or, in lieu of a degree, 12 years of relevant work experience

  • Lean Six Sigma BlackBelt certified

  • Ability to lead and work on several concurrent projects

  • Plan and lead complex process improvement projects

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, pro-actively managing risk, and facilitating high performing teams.

  • Strong leadership skills; ability to encourage and help motivate others

  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously

Desired

  • Graduate degree in engineering, business administration, or other highly analytical field

  • Change Management Practitioner

  • Strong project management and change management skills; PMI Certification

  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressured environment

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with a keen attention to details

  • High level of ownership and assume full accountability for managing and delivering projects

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
