The Office Coordinator is the first point of contact for a variety of NorthWestern Energy business needs for the Havre Gas Production Operations, Gas Transmission and Storage Operations, and the Long Term Growth Department. This position will support both office and field personnel with a heavy focus on complex clerical tasks and general office organization, data management with spreadsheets and generating reports.


  • All NorthWestern Energy employees are required to adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics

  • Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives

  • Coordinator will compile, prepare and file production reports with the appropriate federal and state offices

  • Responsible for filing required documents with the appropriate authorities, including permits and sundrys

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties

  • Scan, file, enter, and maintain specific department records for retention

  • Answer the telephone and respond to clients, supervisors, and staff members questions

  • Purchase and maintain inventory of department office supplies, field equipment & safety supplies

  • Assists in the maintaining and updating the well information and other databases as required by the gas production operations, land department, and the Manager of Gas Growth and Storage.

  • Analyze and input data to recognize abnormalities in flow data and relay information to field personnel and management

  • Process all invoices

  • Responsible for relaying various communications between office personnel and the field personnel

  • Manage all aspects of the office as required


  • Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record

  • High school degree or equivalent required

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, or similar field of study preferred

  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent customer skills including strong oral communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and strong math skills

  • Experience with computer applications or SAP software preferred

  • Able to positively interact with employees and customers to resolve problems

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Able to demonstrate an excellent attendance record
