Job Summary

This position will report to the Site Vice President, and through a matrixed relationship, to the Director, Organizational Effectiveness. The Site Sustainability Manager will maintain procedural documentation, metrics, and reports needed to implement continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Manages a wide variety of high visibility and high impact projects and special assignments based on direction of Site Vice President and Plant Manager. Serves as member of the PSEG Organizational Effectiveness Working Group acting in the role of the station liaison.

Job Responsibilities

Provides strategic organizational support to Site Leadership to identify and address performance deficiencies.

Develops schedules, coordinates and facilitates station level Management Review Meetings (MRM) ensuring quality of station level business and INPO metrics. Develops and tracks site action, business, and strategic plans as directed by Site leadership.

Maintains and reports all site metrics to INPO and external stakeholders as well as serves as the Station Administrative Point of Contact (APOC) for INPO. Ensures completion of station level responses to CFAM AOC/Elevation/Escalation reports

Ensures progress in closure and follow up of station AFI’s and gaps to excellence (GTE)

Develops station Performance Report, including PPI analysis and IPSR analysis.

Performs field observations of personnel to reinforce standards and expectations and identify gaps in performance.

In partnership with Organizational Effectiveness, completes Leadership and Team Effectiveness (INPO 15-005) assessments of the station’s leadership team and development of OR story

Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science. In lieu of a degree must have 10 years of Nuclear Power Experience in a leadership position.

  • 7 years in a managerial role at a nuclear power plant and or experience in OrganizationalEffectiveness/Corrective Action Program, Human Performance or technical field.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and develop actions and plans to ensure performance improvement.

  • Strong knowledge of the Nuclear Power Plant Process and regulatory requirements.

  • Must meet and maintain Nuclear's requirements for unescorted plant access.

Desired:

  • SRO License/RO License or certification or system engineer certification.

  • Previous experience in managing the O&M and capital budgets in a competitive environment.

  • SAP Proficiency

  • Nuclear Training experience/SAT experience
