Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is currently recruiting for a Material Specialist at our Green Bay, WI location. The role of the Material Specialist is to provide services related to materials management. This position will be for 1st shift (7:00AM to 3:30PM)
Material procurement, material handling, material movement, materials coordination, material arrangement and materials disbursement.
Employee must be able to work as part of a team along with the ability to work independently at remote Company locations where independent decision making is critical.
Attention to detail is critical to all duties performed.
This position will be utilizing an array of equipment from computers to material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes and other power industrial trucks.
High school diploma, HSED or GED
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or obtain one within three months of acceptance of this position
3+ years of warehouse and powered industrial truck experience
Ability to lift and/or carry 100lbs, reach above shoulders, repeatedly bend, twist, squat, and climb up and down ladders or stairs.
Job may require employee to be on their feet for the duration of their shift.
Experience with materials management at a utility.
Knowledge of materials used in electrical distribution, gas distribution and Power Plant related processes.
Qualified to operate forklift and other large lifting equipment
