Seeking a driven, high-energy, multiskilled leader to support Entergy’s Corporate Business Services organization (CBS) in achieving its strategic mission of operational excellence. CBS is comprised of Shared Services, Information Technology, Information Security, Continuous Improvement, and Supply Chain.

The Analyst, Sr. reports to the Manager, CBS Performance Management. The position’s primary objective is to support CBS operational excellence objectives by leading initiatives to mature operational performance analysis and reporting. Additionally, this role will focus on emerging requirements to support CI objectives for the enterprise


  • Analyze CBS performance data and prepare communications for leadership discussions with key stakeholders

  • Maintain disciplined framework that links together services, financials, KPIs & metrics – underpinned by automation and increasing digital capability

  • Maintain routine process for calculating, measuring and reporting performance that is transparent, timely and accurate

  • Design performance reporting processes including data collection, data cleansing, and visualization, aligned with intended audiences

  • Maintain metrics catalog and data repository of historical performance information

  • Examine existing baseline metrics and trends and identify opportunities for improvement or corrective actions, as needed

  • Work with process owners to identify, implement and measure improvement opportunities based on facts or data-driven insight

  • Apply advanced analytics merged with continuous improvement to improve operations

  • Build partnerships with CBS teams, Finance and HR business partners

  • Maintain and grow the CBS capital prioritization and review process

  • Manage multiple assignments

  • Other duties, as assigned or required


Minimum education and experience required of the position

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related fieldand 8 years professional experience with data analysis, visualization, and communication of operational performance OR in lieu of degree minimum 12 years of related professional experience.

  • 2+ years experience leading cross functional project teams to deliver outcomes and measure success

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

  • Defining KPI measures and calculations

  • Technical proficiency – mathematical ability, programming languages, analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL preferred)

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving

  • Customer-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact, communicate and work with diverse groups of people

  • Self-starter who can work independently, manages time effectively and takes ownership of results

  • Ability to adjust style, as appropriate, to meet changing business needs, conditions and work responsibilities/priorities

  • Understanding of utility financials (capital and O&M)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to various levels of the organization

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results

  • Continuous improvement mindset


  • Project management certification

  • Six Sigma certification

  • Benchmarking experience
