Job Summary

Manages all procurement activities for a long term Off Shore Wind project. Manages insourced, outsourced, and contract resources to perform all required procurement activities related to project. Acts as a liaison to Business Unit Director on all aspects of scope development, requisitioning, and contract negotiation. Performs market research for commodity and services related to project needs. Identifies, qualifies, and negotiates with a large number of suppliers of goods and services.Coordinates with Legal to review and modify Terms and Conditions for construction contracts. Oversees the expediting process for all critical components, and ensures schedule adherence. Manages expenditures and reporting for outsourced resources.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

7+ years of experience in project management with a good understanding of supply chain functions and activities. Note: A Master's degree will count as one year towards the experience requirement. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year of experience.In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and methodologies. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong project management skills, including contract, scoping, and development. Risk management expertise. Strong teambuilding skills. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. Excellent analytical skills, including financial analysis. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities.Up to 50% travel. (Primarily day trips)The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below.
