The role of the In-house Graphic Designer sits within the Strategic Campaigns area of our Liberalised business. In this role you will work within brand guidelines and support key areas of the retail business to deliver a wide scope of design materials ranging from print, digital, social and ideally motion. You will have a strong, traditional design background which you will be comfortable applying to any project.

You will be a mid-weight designer who excels at collaboration and has the skills to work within a demanding, high energy environment. This role will allow you to make a notable impact on the company’s growth and success.

You will be able to deliver within a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple initiatives and stakeholders at any point in time.

From time to time you will also collaborate with other external agencies to deliver design support as part of wider communication projects.


  • A creative individual who can interrogate the brief and deliver creative solutions

  • Autonomous. Although guidance will always be there, you must have confidence in your ability to get on with a project unaided

  • Able to produce within tight and strict deadlines

  • Aware of the latest design trends and how to apply them within a commercial environment

  • Responsibility for testing and optimising designs and templates to enhance campaign performance

Skills and Requirements

We are looking for individuals who excel at Graphic Design and who hold a portfolio in design/production that demonstrates a core range of creative marketing and design skills within a retail/service environment. Ideally you will possess the following abilities:

  • A degree or qualification in graphic design or related discipline

  • Fluent in Adobe creative suite (Indesign, Photoshop, illustrator, etc.)

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Ability to deliver results whilst managing multiple stakeholders and competing demands within a rapidly changing environment

  • Print and online design experience

    To be successful in a role you will need to demonstrate as minimum:

  • Degree or qualification in graphic design or equivalent

  • Experience as a graphic designer, ideally with Retail/Service brands

  • Creativity with a collaborative spirit

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skillset

  • Portfolio covering print and online design examples

What we Offer

This is a Permanent contract with a salary from £28,560 per annum.
