South Jersey Industries Talent Acquisition Operations Lead in Folsom, New Jersey

Position Summary

You will be an invaluable part of our TA organization, bringing our passion and focus on organizational growth to life. We're hiring a TA Operations Manager to join our talent acquisition team. This role will be responsible for identifying ways to improve operational execution and efficiency, utilizing data to make strategic recommendations for improvement, and leading projects to drive change management.

Essential functions

  • Build and lead a TA operations function that aligns with the direction of our business

  • Regularly identify and implement areas of operational enhancement and best practices relative to TA processes, process flows, technology, and programs to drive consistent and outstanding levels of efficiency

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across areas such as HR, compensation, finance, onboarding, D&I, and IT to develop enhancements in cross functional operational execution

  • Align our budget and spend with key initiatives and areas of focus, regularly reviewing and determining associated ROI

  • Enhance current reporting capabilities and provide thought leadership regarding trends in activity

  • Develop robust reporting packages that align with business hiring goals, team metrics, and kpis

  • Utilize and assess data to identify areas of opportunity and make recommendations to enhance team performance and business engagement to achieve metrics, expectations, and kpis

  • Work with Recruiting leads, HR business partners and business leaders to understand hiring goals and associated timing

  • Team with recruiters, HR colleagues and key business stakeholders to drive a consistent and outstanding candidate experience

  • Partner with total rewards, communications and marketing teams to strategically articulate our value proposition, utilizing digital and social channels to drive our brand

  • Lead cross-functional TA team projects


  • 7 + years of relevant Recruiting experience and 5 + years of TA project management experience

  • Strong understanding of best practices within talent acquisition systems (ATS, CRM), processes, process flows, and additional TA technology

  • Ability to directly and indirectly lead and influence people at all levels

  • Experience managing multiple projects, some independently

  • Experience driving change management initiatives

  • Outstanding and superior organizational, data management, trend analysis, presentation and reporting skills

  • Experience with recruitment marketing initiatives and platforms

  • Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and make strategic vendor recommendations

  • Understanding of the budgeting process

  • Past recruiting experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
