Xcel Energy Manager, Supply Chain Process & Program Controls Job in Denver, Colorado

Position Summary

Manages a team responsible for planning, documenting, and optimizing Supply Chain processes, pursuing innovative approaches and technology toward further automation while ensuring compliance with documented procedures. Leads team that oversees corporate travel and credit card policies and governance.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership in directing program and project management activities for selected programs and projects. Hires, manages, and develops staff to create a high performing workforce to meet Xcel Energy’s present and future needs.

  • Accountable for continuous monitoring of transactions flowing through the supply chain process, including regular testing and documentation of findings to address SOx compliance as well as other internal and regulatory requirements. Manage and coordinate activities associated with internal audits, including remediation activities. Integrate corporate policies, priorities, and objectives to improve operational performance.

  • Anticipate and aggressively pursue issues that impact the strategic direction of operational performance. Oversee reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement efforts for supply chain processes.

  • Coordinate and analyze department operating budgets.

  • Publish current policy and procedures documents.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business, or related technical/analytical field.

  • Three years of experience with the supply chain processes, process improvement, reporting/analysis, and quality assurance is required.

  • Demonstrated experience leading a corporate card program is desired.

  • Demonstrated abilities in accounting and previous audit experience desired.

  • Previous management experience with leadership skills to manage a diverse group of professionals is desired.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed.

  • Strong analytical and reasoning ability are required.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $100,000 to $142,000 per year
