This HR Manager will oversee strategic benefits projects including items like COVID response; compliance, policies and procedures; and disability operations - all while working closely with HR operations partners and the business. Position Summary

Plan, develop, manage, and evaluate the implementation of multiple HR-related functions. Provide direction to leaders and employees on HR programs, processes and policies in areas managed. Use knowledge and understanding of the human resources function to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the budget, implementing effective HR processes, establishing metrics and monitoring performance of a team focused on delivering outcomes for managed disciplines or functions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the design, development, implementation, evaluation and communication of HR programs, policies, and practices ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Guide operation of HR functions, streamline administration, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programs and communications. Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

  • Provide subject matter expertise of HR programs, products, processes, and technology to resolve problems and deliver needed results. May select and manage HR outsourcing vendors. Leverage analytics to drive sound decisions and customize solutions.

  • Plan for future human resource needs and changing industry trends. Conduct research to enhance efficiencies and improve the employee experience. Identify and implement innovative HR solutions to business priorities. Partner with HR and leadership to drive business initiatives.

  • Lead a team responsible for identifying and implementing HR programs aligned with company values and initiatives. Guide team members to establish priorities, measures, goals and strategic plans and their link to business objectives and goals. Establish and communicate clear performance expectations and foster employee learning, development, and growth opportunities.

  • Participate as an active member of the HR community, building relationships across the HR team and supporting other HR and business initiatives and projects. Explore cross-functional opportunities to further company goals and improve operational excellence and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a HR, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Five years of experience in HR, Business, or related field. Comprehensive knowledge of HR issues, trends, and practices.

  • Proven interpersonal and organizational skills, and initiative to improve processes.

  • Demonstrated communication skills to effectively interface with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to handle complex tasks and solve problems creatively.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and collaborative team environment and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

Preferred Requirements

  • MBA or Master’s degree in related field.

  • Two years of demonstrated leadership experience.

  • Certification through a recognized professional or educational organization.
